SAP and Tricentis have announced an expansion of their global partnership. SAP customers get free access to Tricentis Test Automation for SAP as part of their SAP Enterprise Support engagement. Both ALM platforms SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM will allow the integration of Tricentis Test Automation for SAP. This will accelerate the move to SAP S/4HANA and the Intelligent Enterprise Suite significantly for our customers.
Additional packages are available for customers interested in expanding into full enterprise use (including non-SAP).
More and more customers move to the cloud and use Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. But they continue to operate business applications deployed on-premise or at hyperscalers as well. Their IT solutions are hybrid.
Application Lifecycle Management is an important topic for hybrid solutions. Both worlds (cloud and on-premise) have to be brought together. We have received many questions already on how to do this best.
To scale the knowledge transfer, SAP decided to collect best practices into a series of whitepapers to be published here.
SAP provides digital support experience with solutions for autonomous Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and service and support delivery for all customers and landscapes, integrating the products that make up the Intelligent Enterprise. The digital experience is a competitive differentiator and enables customer satisfaction.
There are different approaches to ALM. Some customers prefer to run their applications using a standardized low-cost approach, while others have individual ALM requirements. Some customers use just a few SAP components, while others have landscapes with more than 100 SAP components. Then there are SAP customers that do not have SAP components at all, but only use cloud applications from SAP.
To satisfy the different customer expectations, SAP provides multiple ALM offerings:
Cloud-based ALM solution for cloud and hybrid customers. Smaller on-premise-only landscapes can be supported as well. SAP Cloud ALM provides standardized ALM processes.

SAP SE and Tricentis have expanded their existing partnership. All SAP customers with an SAP Enterprise Support agreement (including SAP Enterprise Support, cloud editions) will be entitled to use Tricentis Test Automation for SAP as a term license.
