Prerequisites

The following technical prerequisites have to be met in order to monitor this scenario:

  • SAP Focused Run 5.0 FP01
  • SAP Cloud ALM subscription
  • Subscription for SAP Custom Domain service, Cloud Foundry environment
  • Make sure your SAP Custom Domain service is visible in the Landscape Management of your SAP Cloud ALM tenant
  • Ensure that you configured the SAP Focused Run reverse proxy in SAP Cloud ALM and enable the landscape sync during the reverse proxy setup.

Setup for SAP Custom Domain service

SAP Custom Domain service already uses our new OpenTelemetry@SAP infrastructure for monitoring data collection.

To enable the monitoring for your SAP Custom Domain service, only two steps are necessary:

  1. Setup OpenTelemetry@SAP via SAP Focused Run Proxy
  2. Activate the monitoring for the SAP Custom Domain service tenant in Configuration & Security Analysis.
