Prerequisites

The following technical prerequisites have to be met in order to monitor this scenario:

  • SAP Focused Run 5.0 SP00
  • SAP Cloud ALM subscription
  • Subscription for SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning
  • Make sure your SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning is visible in the Landscape Management of your SAP Cloud ALM tenant
  • Ensure that you configured the SAP Focused Run reverse proxy in SAP Cloud ALM and enable the landscape sync during the reverse proxy setup.

SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning

SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning already uses our new OpenTelemetry@SAP infrastructure for monitoring data collection.

To enable the monitoring for your SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning, only two steps are necessary:

  1. Setup OpenTelemetry@SAP via SAP Focused Run Proxy
  2. Activate the monitoring for the SAP Cloud Identity Services – Identity Provisioning tenant in Configuration & Security Analysis and/or Job & Automation Monitoring.
