SAP Digital Manufacturing

This page explains how to connect SAP Digital Manufacturing to SAP Focused Run to enable monitoring.

Currently, the following monitoring application is supported for SAP Digital Manufacturing:

Prerequisites

The following technical prerequisites have to be met in order to monitor this scenario:

  • SAP Focused Run 5.0 SP00
  • SAP Cloud ALM subscription
  • Subscription for SAP Digital Manufacturing
  • Make sure your SAP Digital Manufacturing is visible in the Landscape Management of your SAP Cloud ALM tenant
  • Ensure that you configured the SAP Focused Run reverse proxy in SAP Cloud ALM and enable the landscape sync during the reverse proxy setup.

Setup for SAP Digital Manufacturing

SAP Digital Manufacturing already uses our new OpenTelemetry@SAP infrastructure for monitoring data collection.

To enable the monitoring for your SAP Digital Manufacturing, only two steps are necessary:

  1. Setup OpenTelemetry@SAP via SAP Focused Run Proxy
  2. Activate the monitoring for the SAP Digital Manufacturing tenant in Job & Automation Monitoring.
