SAP Content Server

This page explains how to prepare a SAP Content Server managed system for the execution of the Simple System Integration

Currently the following monitoring application are supported for SAP Content Server systems:

Preparations in the Managed System

SAP Content Server monitoring scenario consists of two systems:

  • A MaxDB Database - the core component of an SAP Content Server installation. For information about MaxDB Database preparation, see SAP MaxDB Database Preparation.
  • A web engine:
    • For SAP Content Server 6.40/6.50: Microsoft IIS Server for Windows or Apache HTTP Server for UNIX
    • For SAP Content Server 7.53: SAP Content Server 7.53 is now a stand-alone that no longer depends on IIS or Apache as a web engine

The preparation steps for the different web engines are described on this page.
