Intelligent Event Processing - Setup & Configuration
The setup of the different event actions is described below.
Create Alert
No specific setup steps required. When configuring event actions for an event in the configuration UI of the monitoring apps you need to enable "Create Alert".
Send Email To
- Add relevant recipients to Notification Management in SAP Cloud ALM (one-time effort)
- When configuring event actions for an event in the configuration UI of the monitoring apps you need to enable "Send E Mail To" and select the relevant recipient.
Start Operation Flow
- Add relevant Operations Automation Engines and register Operation Flows in SAP Cloud ALM (one-time effort)
- When configuring event actions for an event in the configuration UI of the monitoring apps you need to enable "Start Operation Flow" and select the relevant operation flow.
Send Chat Notification
- Follow the steps described under Integration with External Chat Systems (one-time effort).
- When configuring event actions for an event in the configuration UI of the monitoring apps you need to enable "Create Ticket" and select the relevant subscription.
Create Ticket
- Follow the steps described under Integration with External Ticket Systems (one-time effort).
- When configuring event actions for an event in the configuration UI of the monitoring apps you need to enable "Create Ticket" and select the relevant subscription.
Store Event Payload for 24 Hours
When this option is enabled, the event payload is stored in the Intelligent Event Processing data store for 24 hours. You can then access the data store and consume the event payloads using the Raw Data Outbound Logs API for Intelligent Event Processing. You can view this setting in the Event Actions section of an event. For more information, please also check the corresponding application help for Event Action Variants.
