Before you can monitor your processes with Business Process Monitoring in SAP Cloud ALM for operations, you have to connect your subscribed SAP cloud services to your SAP Cloud ALM instance.
For SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite you need ST-A/PI version > 01U_731.
Please follow the Enabling SAP Cloud ALM APIs guide in SAP Help to retrieve your API keys (Clientid and Secret) and Host Name which you will need during the configuration.

As a Process Monitoring Administrator, you can now manage the retention time of single business documents and aggregated data as follows:
The specified retention times are valid for all monitored systems and services.
Be aware that SAP provides you a fair usage concept with 8GB HANA memory in total. If you extend the given memory you might need to subscribe additional memory blocks with our BTP service SAP Cloud ALM memory extension.
