Business Process Monitoring Setup & Configuration

Prerequisites

Before you can monitor your processes with Business Process Monitoring in SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management, you have to connect your subscribed SAP cloud services to your SAP Cloud ALM instance. 

For SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite you need ST-A/PI version > 01U_731.

Please follow the Enabling SAP Cloud ALM APIs guide in SAP Help  to retrieve your API keys (Clientid and Secret) and Host Name which you will need during the configuration.

Setup

Housekeeping

Set the number of days for which business documents are stored. Any business documents exceeding this age limit are no longer available as detailed entries on KPI level, but flow into the aggregated data history.

You can define a retention period between 1 and 30 days. To optimize memory usage, reduce the retention period accordingly.
