The goal of Process Management is to have a central point of access to documentation for IT-supported business processes and technical information.

With SAP Solution Manager 7.2, you can now model business processes with the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), use branches,  lifecycle management, and template management. The process management API(opens in new tab) allows the integration of 3rd Party modeling tools or customer individual solutions.

With Version 7.2, SAP Solution Manager is the single source of truth for your business processes and all information collected in the application lifecycle.

Existing solution documentation content in SAP Solution Manager 7.1 needs to be converted into the format required by the new 7.2 infrastructure, if you want to continue working with this content in 7.2. This transition process is called Content Activation(opens in new tab).
