To setup Operations Automation, please follow the configuration guides provided for each of the supported process automation engines:
After you have established connectivity to the supported process automation engines and registered operation flow definitions in SAP Cloud ALM you can define that operation flows are triggered automatically as soon as a monitoring application raises an event. You need to configure this in the relevant monitoring application under configuration -->.. --> Event Settings.
The following describes how to use Operations Automation in the context of the different applications:
If an operation flow instance was triggered automatically by an Event processing rule for an alert you can see the status of the triggered operation flow instance in the Alert Details under Operations Automation logs
As an alert processor you can trigger operation flows manually from the alert details screen as follows:
Afterwards you can see the status of the triggered operation flow instance in the Alert Details under Operations Automation logs.
If the value help is empty, you need to register a workflow definition and assign it to the selected use case.
The following describes how to de-register operation flow definitions:
Please note: De-registration means that the operation flow can no longer be used in SAP Cloud ALM. The underlying Workflow definition, Intelligent RPA automation or Automation Pilot Command in the process automation tenant remains unchanged.
