The following components can be monitored:
Shows whether the application is running or if it has been stopped.
Shows the response time of the process of an application.
Provides the number of busy threads related to an application.
Shows the percentage of CPU Load per application process.
Determines the memory/time ratio of disk input and output operations for an application.
Heap Memory Usage
Shows the heap memory usage quota of an application process.
OS Memory Usage
Displays the OS memory usage quota of an application.
Requests per minute
Determines the number of requests per minute of a process of an application.
Used Disk Space
Provides the used disk space quota of an application process.
Additionally Health Monitoring can consume events which are sent by the SAP Alert Notification Service of SAP BTP Neo. Each event can be displayed as an alert in the Alert Inbox of Health Monitoring.
The following events are supported:
|Java Application Event||Availability Check||An availability check event is triggered if the availability check in Monitoring Service for your Java application is configured. An event is sent if the application is not available or the response time is longer than the configured thresholds. Another event is sent again when the application is available again or the response time is back to normal.|
|SAP HANA Database Event||SAP HANA Database Availability||SAP HANA database availability event notifies if the database is reachable from the central administration component via JDBC. If the metric is critical, then the database is down, overloaded, or there is a network issue.|

Note: After the configuration steps above, by default the SAP BTP Neo cloud service instance will not be monitored. You need to add the new subaccount to the scope and perform further configuration in Health Monitoring.
