See all SAP events in SAP for Me's centralized Calendar(opens in new tab).

 

Procedure

  1. Select Calendar from the sidebar to see all relevant SAP events.
  2. Choose from the following Calendar options:
    • Legend 
      Displays the list of possible event types and applied filters for each type:
      • Maintenance for Cloud Services:
        Maintenance dates for SAP cloud products that you have subscribed to.
      • License key expiry:
        Indicates dates where you have to request a new key to ensure that your software product remains activated and license-compliant. 
      • Schedule an Expert or Manager sessions:
        Online meetings with an SAP Support expert to discuss a technical problem or the progress of a case.
      • Maintenance deliveries (patches etc.):
        Planned release dates for SAP's maintenance deliveries for on-premise products, which include patches, support packages, and support package stacks.
      • Extranet release dates:
        Major release dates for the SAP for Me portal or SAP ONE Support Launchpad. SAP recommends that you do not schedule major go-lives or upgrades for this day as applications like SAP Notes search, case creation, system data administration, and others, may temporarily be unavailable.
      • SAP Security Patch days:
        Release dates for software corrections focused solely on security to protect against potential weaknesses or attacks.
        The colors indicate the type of event on the calendar. You can select your own colors by clicking on an event type name and choosing the color from the color picker.
    • Favorite products only
      Check the box to see only the events that are related to your favorite products.
    • Search events
      Search for events outside of the current view, based on the event's title. Results show future events (one year after current date) and past events (one year before current date) and match the selected event types from the left-side legend.
    • Day/Week/Month
      Select the calendar view you prefer. See events for the day, week, or for the entire month.
    • Hide/Show Legend
      Toggle between hiding/showing the left-side legend.
    • Aggregated View 
      Aggregates Cloud Services events, for the same Cloud Service, happening within 1 day and displays one entry per group with a summary indicating the number and list of aggregated events, list of data centers, list of system roles, average duration of events. Event’s date & time is shown in both local and data center time zone.
    • Filter
      Select the types of events to be displayed by applying filters that are specific for an event type.
      • For Cloud Services (Planned Events):
        • Cloud Service
        • Data Center
        • System Role
        • Duration
      • For Maintenance Deliveries:
        • Product
        • Duration
    • Export ICS
      Export events from the current Calendar view (day/week/month) in ICS format and import it to your personal calendar. The exported events match the search criteria and applied filter for event type, from the left-side legend.Event details can change within SAP for Me, take this as the single source of truth.
    • Event details
      Select an event on the calendar to see more information for the event:
      • Select the See more button (not all events have it) to go to a page that shows more details about the event.
      • Select Download ICS to download the event to your personal calendar.
    • Maintenance Deliveries tab
      Shows maintenance deliveries events, grouped by quarter, in mini-calendar views. The events can be exported in ICS and Excel formats. Go to the Maintenance Deliveries tab in SAP for Me.
    • Planned Events for Cloud Services tab
      Shows planned events for cloud services, grouped by quarter, in mini-calendar views. The events from each quarter can be exported in ICS and Excel formats. Go to the Planned Events for Cloud Services tab in SAP for Me.

Required Authorization

To see some event types you need special authorizations, granted by one of the administrators in your company.(opens in new tab)

  • Request License Key for ‘License Key Expiry’ events
  • Display Case, Display all Cases and Send Cases to SAP for ‘Schedule an Expert/Manager sessions’ events

Select the name of a restricted event type to access a self-service to request these authorizations.
