Maintenance Deliveries Tab

The Maintenance Deliveries (opens in new tab)tab is the central location for planned release dates for patches, support packages, and support package stacks for your on-premise software.

Calendar Benefits

The Calendar consolidates all SAP maintenance schedules, provides detailed information for a more intuitive experience and is usable across multiple SAP portals.

Overall, the assistant:

  • Provides a more User-friendly interface.
  • Helps customers quickly search for and retrieve the latest release dates for maintenance schedules.
  • Saves time and effort.   
  • Provides timely information, giving customers up-to-date information at their fingertips.

Scope

The maintenance delivery only covers on-premise software, and while the list is long, it does not cover all on-premise software.

Authorization

You can only view events in the Calendar, you cannot create or edit events. In the main Calendar(opens in new tab), you only see products that you have a license for. 

In the Maintenance Delivery Tab(opens in new tab), you see planned release dates for SAP's maintenance deliveries which include patches, support packages, and support package stacks.

 

Procedure

From the Calendar tab:

  1. Go to the Calendar dashboard → Calendar tab.
  2. To see the events for Maintenance Deliveries select the Filter and select the Maintenance deliveries (patches etc.).  
    To remove the filter criteria, select Reset in the Filter By pane.
  3. Scroll through month by month using the Arrow keys. 
  4. Use Search find events outside of the current view, based on the name of the product you are looking for.
     

From the Maintenance Deliveries tab:

  1. Go to the Calendar dashboard → Maintenance Deliveries tab.
  2. Quarterly and Yearly views are available.
  3. See the Events listed under each month.
  4. Click on an Event for the following information – Technical Name, Product Availability Matrix link, and Release Notes / documentation relevant to the product.
  5. If required, Export the Events to ICS or Excel formats.

Good to Know

Be aware that the information contained in the Calendar is subject to change. SAP does not guarantee the availability of an SP Stack delivery on the specified date. The delivery frequency of a product version may change during its lifecycle.
 

Availability

We do not publish a specific date, instead we provide the week during which a support package will be made available. 
 

Product Name

The Official Product name is displayed in both the Calendar tab and Maintenance Delivery tab. If you hover over the name with your mouse in the Calendar tab, you see the technical name. 

Search function works for both Official Product name and technical name.
