Access and Authorizations

To visit SAP for Me, you need a recent version of any of the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Google Chrome
  • Apple Safari

In addition, some cards that display critical company data require special authorizations that an administrator in your company can grant you.

Here are some tips on how to get access to SAP for Me:

If you have an existing S-user ID, or alternatively an SAP Universal ID(opens in new tab) that is linked to an S-user ID, you can simply sign in to SAP for Me:

  1. Go to https://me.sap.com/(opens in new tab) and select Sign In.
  2. Use your S-user ID or SAP Universal ID and password to sign in.
  3. Upon your first visit, the on-boarding process suggests topics and tasks for you to easily select from. By telling us about your interests and what tasks are important for you, helpful cards are identified and added to your SAP for Me Home page to get you started.
  4. For all other visitors, we add some sample content to get you started on your Home page. You can customize the Home page however you like.
  5. Now go start enjoying using SAP for Me.

Note that some capabilities require special authorizations that an administrator in your company can grant to S-users.

Some of the capabilities in SAP for Me require special authorizations, which can only be granted to S-users (but not to SAP Universal ID users). Reach out to an administrator or, if you are an SAP partner, to the Partner Security Manager in your company.

If you don't know the administrators at your company, visit the SAP Customer Interaction Center (CIC) for help. You can contact CIC using chatphone, or e-mail.

You can also ask a colleague with an S-user ID. They can find a list of all administrators(opens in new tab) at your company in SAP for Me.

Certain capabilities in SAP for Me require special authorizations.

If you are an S-user and you don't see information on a card in SAP for Me, you'll see a message on the card that you aren't authorized. In the message, select Company Administrators to open a list of administrators at your company. Select the name of an administrator, then select Send E-Mail to request access.

An administrator (or, for SAP partners, a Partner Security Manager) can generate S-user IDs and assign permissions that are required to fulfill certain tasks in SAP for Me. This is done on the SAP for Me Users & Contacts dashboard.

Procedure

  1. From the sidebar, select Customer Dashboards, then Users & Contacts dashboard.
  2. Select the title at the top of the Support User Administration card to enter the User Management application.
  3. On the User Management application, follow the steps outlined in the User Management online help to manage your S-users and their authorizations.
