SAP Engineering Control Center interface to Zuken
General Information
This product helps customers to interface ZUKEN DS-E3 and DS-CR EDM systems and SAP PLM. The interface allows to store CAD files in SAP’s Document Info Record and document structures, synchronize material data between SAP and DS and transfer and update project related BOM’s.
Preconditions
E3 and DS-E3 / CR and DS-CR need to be installed and configured.

Maintenance Strategy
SAP plans to ship releases on a yearly basis. Additionally, we plan to deliver Feature Packages on a regular basis.
SAP recommends always installing the latest Patches, Support Packages and Feature Packages.
Patches and Support Packages will contain corrections; Feature Packages will contain new functionality. SAP plans to deliver a new feature package for the CAD interface within 8 weeks after a new CAD release is available for customers.
