Synthetic User Monitoring Scripts Data Provider

Objectives

The Synthetic User Monitoring Scripts data provider in the OCC Dashboard gives you access to different metrics and KPIs from the Synthetic User Monitoring application.

 

The Synthetic User Monitoring Scripts Data Provider includes brand new metrics to count execution statuses grouped by

  • Green / Red availability
  • Green / Yellow / Red performance

The Response Time metric returns values based only on complete executions (SUM status code: 200, 201, 202, 208, 401, 501)

The following metrics are available:

  • Response Time
  • Executions (Total)
  • Performance Green
  • Performance Yellow
  • Performance Red
  • Performance Unknown
  • Availability Green
  • Availability Unknown
  • Availability Red

Configuration

The configuration of a Synthetic User Monitoring Scripts query can be summarized in the following steps:

  1. Select a Scenario or a Scenario Group from the "Scenarios"
  2. Select one or more locations from the "Locations" => "Robot Name" view (all robots are selected by default)
  3. Select a metric from the "Metric" => "Metric Name" tab (Response Time is selected by default)
  4. Optional: select the available drill down dimensions, Robot Name and Scenario (useful when selecting a Scenario Group)
