Configuration & Security Analysis

NEW (October 2025):
Configuration & Security Analysis is now live with a new Tile "Configuration & Security Analysis - Validation". You can also access the validation from within the old CSA Application. We re-named it Configuration & Security Analysis – Data Stores. The new tile is for technical reasons, only. Authorization and feature-wise CSA remains one App.

The capabilities of Configuration & Security Analysis (CSA) are available after the setup of ABAP based systems. CSA detects and records common technical changes in a managed system. A change tracking is performed during upload of the extracted configuration information. On managed system side the configuration data is collected and pushed to the SAP Cloud ALM for operation. There the data is compared with the previous snapshot to identify changes. Data is stored in the HANA database.
