Test Management

With the Test Management capabilities in SAP Cloud ALM you can prepare and execute manual and automated tests. For some solutions like S/4HANA, the Best Practice content provides standard test cases that can be imported into SAP Cloud ALM, accelerating the preparation process. 

We can integrate Test Automation Tools (e.g. S/4HANA Cloud Test Automation Tool) that provide standard test cases to be synchronized and executed with SAP Cloud ALM. SAP Cloud ALM offers a holistic orchestration platform for all types of functional tests which could be linked to Solution Processes, Requirements and User Stories to support an E2E implementation process with full traceability.

Test Plans

Test Plans TileIn the Test Plans app, you can create the test plans, assign Test Cases that have been created in the Test Preparation app, and track the preparation and the execution progress of the test cases per test plan.

Test Plan OverviewDelete Test Plan

You can delete test plans, if you don't need them anymore.

Please note: all related test runs, test results in test execution are deleted too.

Test Plan DetailsAssign TesterYou can assign a tester to each Test Case part of a Test Plan so, the tester can filter in Test Execution for assigned Test Cases.
Test Plan DetailsSet Test Plan to 'In Testing'After switching the test plan status to ‘In Testing', all assigned test cases in status ‘Prepared' get a new occurrence (execution context) and the test execution can be started.

You can remove test cases from test plan, if you decide they are not relevant for current test cycle

Please note: all related test runs, test results in test execution are deleted too.

After your test cycle is finished, you can set the test plan status to finished.
