SAP Engineering Control Center interface to NX
General Information
This product helps customers to integrate NX into SAP PLM. The interface allows to store CAD files in SAP’s Document Info Record and document structures. The product provides additional menu entries in the CAD system and connects the CAD system with SAP Engineering Control Center.
Preconditions
SAP Engineering Control Center needs to be installed and configured. Please refer also corresponding documentation and installation guides for SAP Engineering Control Center.
Procedure
Please download the software to your local client, start the installer and follow the instructions.

Product Availability Matrix (PAM)
Starting with support for the Siemens NX 1926 Series in September 2020, the release strategy for SAP ECTR interface to NX will change.
In order to best support the semi-annual release cycle of Siemens NX, the release strategy of SAP ECTR interface to NX is now based on this cycle.
To clarify this change, the Feature Package number in the version jumps to "100".

Maintenance Strategy
SAP plans to ship releases on a yearly basis. Additionally we plan to deliver Feature Packages on a regular basis.
SAP recommends always installing the latest Patches, Support Packages and Feature Packages.
Patches and Support Packages will contain corrections; Feature Packages will contain new functionality. SAP plans to deliver a new feature package for the CAD interface within 8 weeks after a new CAD release is available for customers.
