This product helps customers to integrate a wide range of Electric- and Electronic-CAD systems into SAP PLM. The interface allows to store CAD files and metadata in objects of the SAP backend as Document Info Records. Also it allows to create Materials and manage data models as relations of Materials and Documents. It creates Bill of Materials and output files out of the CAD-Systems into SAP.

SAP Engineering Control Center needs to be installed and configured. Please refer also corresponding documentation and installation guides for SAP Engineering Control Center.
The respective CAD system needs to be installed and respective licenses need to be available.
Please download the software to your local client, start the installer and follow the instructions.

SAP plans to deliver Support Packages and Feature Packages on a regular basis.
SAP recommends always installing the latest Support Packages and Feature Packages.
A Support Package will contain corrections; Feature Packages will contain new functionality.
SAP plans to deliver 2 Support/Feature packages per year. CAD system versions available 6 weeks before publishing date are planned to be supported.
