New policy for providing SAP with Oracle CSI number to continue enabling Oracle software downloads via SAP Software Download Center (SWDC):

For customers using an Oracle Full Use license in their SAP environment SAP SE and Oracle Inc. mutually agreed to update the policy surrounding the provisioning of the Oracle Customer Service Identifier (CSI) to SAP.

The Oracle Customer Service Identifier (CSI) will become increasingly important to continue enabling Oracle software downloads via the SAP Software Download Center (SWDC).

In case you have switched your Oracle database license from an SAP sold Runtime to an Oracle sold Full Use license after June 1st, 2022 OR you plan to switch from a Runtime to a Full Use license, you are requested to submit your valid Oracle Customer Support Identifier (CSI) number to SAP as per updated policy.

Failing to do so may lead to a (temporary) disruption of SAP support services, e.g. the ability to download Oracle software from the SWDC.

The effective date of the policy update is March 1st, 2024.

The download of any Oracle software and/or Oracle patches from the SAP Software Download Center (SWDC) is exclusively permitted through a valid Oracle support agreement.

This support agreement may solely be entered into through your local SAP entity or Oracle directly.

Oracle support agreements with third-party providers other than SAP or Oracle, do not authorize any download of Oracle software and/or Oracle patches from the SAP Software Download Center (SWDC).

Before commencing any Oracle download, please ensure that this prerequisite has been fulfilled.

Failing to do so may lead to a breach of your agreement and disruption of support services by SAP.

 

Until further notice and per policy of Oracle, customers located in Russia, Belarus and Venezuela are not allowed to download Oracle software and/or Oracle patches from SWDC.
