News with Software Logistics Toolset 1.0 SPS 44

  • Availability: SL Toolset 1.0 SPS 44 is available since May 26th 2025.
  • What's in: compared to SPS 43, no tool was added or removed.

Software Maintenance

SUM 2.0 SP 23:

  • DMO
    • Optimizations with MaxDB as source
    • Optimizations with active Material Field Length Extension
    • Logging tables for recording changes
  • Conversion
    • Run the Simplification Item Check manually is possible (by default automatically running)
    • Customizing on Temporary Instance - generally available for downtime-optimized conversion
  • Expert mode: now it is set as a default value 
  • Automation: "Updating additional appserver instances" is now configurable
  • PAM: ASE 16.1 support

Changes with latest SL Toolset version for 7.00 to 7.58 (SL Toolset 1.0 SPS 43 / Version 0091)

  • Simplified online validation for the maintenance certificate;
  • Support for TCIs, which contain yet unknown object types.

Changes with Software Provisioning Manager 1.0 SP44 and 2.0 SP21

  • SWPM 2.0 SP21:
    • Security certificates in rename, consent pkey deletion
    • stack.xml based up-to-date install including TCIs​
  • SWPM 1.0 SP43:
    • DB Refresh on Application host for MS SQL Server
    • LiveCache installation using SAR files​
    • ASE 16.1 support
