Real User Monitoring - Card View

With the Real User Monitoring Card View in SAP Focused Run it is possible to create freely definable groups of requests representing the areas most interesting for you. Groups or cards are defined by a combination of

  • Request Type (RFC, http(s), Dialog, SAPUI5, WS)
  • Request Name(s) (with wild cards)
  • System (optional)
  • User Type (Either synthetic users, only real users or both types)
  • User Name(s) (Comma separated list of users with wild cards e.g. SAP*,C*)

Each group is in the UI represented by a card displaying for the selected systems and time range:

  • Average Response time
  • Number of unique users executing the requests
  • Number of executions
  • Percentage of how many executions above the red threshold.

The color of the bar on the left side of each card is defined by the thresholds set in the Configuration  in the pane bar.  Configuration of the groups has been changed with the feature packs.

View Personalization

The configuration of the card is done under the View Personalization by clicking on the Personalization icon  in the pane bar.

If the Card View should be used also by other users the page should be set to public under UI Personalization.

Groups defined by cards on public pages can be used for alerting (available since FRUN 1.0 FP01).

Group Configuration

Since SAP Focused Run 1.00 FP03 groups can be maintained in the Monitoring UI via the Configuration  under Groups Configuration:

Click on the pencil icon to add new groups or change existing groups.

Click on the + icon to add a new group.

Enter title and the fields for configuration and save it.

If no System is entered the systems from scope selection are used, even LMDB Attributes were entered (available since SAP Focused Run 4.0 FP02).

Custom Page

In the UI personalization you can now select for your custom pages the available groups.
