Operations Dashboard

With the Operations dashboard (available since SAP Focused 3.0 SP00), you can detect and solve alerts to track issues as they occur. Your team knows the current situation of your SAP environment.  Your first and second level support organization can operate your solution with insight into the root cause of issues and the ability to drill down into the problem. Through Operations dashboards, you can view in real-time and solve alerts to track issues as they occur in your SAP environment.

Concepts

Data visualization of Operations Dashboards is based on the following concepts:

  • Layout: Define your own dashboard layout.
  • Views: Use different renderers to provide relevant information for your key users.
  • Data Sources: Select the sources for your alerts and metrics.

Layout

Layout is managed with the standard page management mechanism of SAP Focused Run.

Views

Three views are provided:

  • Analytics Maps
  • Tiles View
  • List Details views

Each of the views react to the different data sources selected according to the configuration attached to the dashboard.

Data Sources

Two Data sources are supported:

  • System Monitoring
  • Real User Monitoring

Single Data sources are added in the "Data Sources" tab with the  following characteristics:

  • Name: Display name of the source.
  • Scenario: Optional Geo-localised information used by the Analytics Map.

For System Monitoring, the entry points are system IDs.

For Real User Monitoring, the entry points are the Real User Monitoring Groups.
