This new authorization checks allow the customer to define which scenarios an end-user can access and which actions they can perform for the scenario. The authorization concept replaces the functionality User-dependent Visibility. 


New Authorization Concept

Authorization Object FRN_AIM_SN

The new authorization object FRN_AIM_SN can be used to restrict the scenarios visible to an end-user and what activities the end-user can perform for the scenario.

Authorization Object FRN_AIM

A new possible value (B1) was added to the field ACTVT for the existing authorization object FRN_AIM.

This value can be used to restrict the visibility for technical systems and cloud services based on the permitted scenarios in authorization object FRN_AIM_SN.

  • If B1 is selected the user can view all technical systems and cloud services in the authorized customer network
  • If B1 is not selected the user will see only the technical systems and cloud services which are part of a scenario to which they have access via authorization object FRN_AIM_SN.
