Below you will find answers to the questions that we get asked most often about topics covered on the Systems & Provisioning Dashboard.
To find a system listed in one of the cards on the Systems & Provisioning dashboard, or to see detailed information about the system, you need the authorization Display System Data or Edit System Data. Reach out to one of the administrators in your company(opens in new tab) to request it.

You will only see SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) entities in your global accounts, including global accounts, entitlements, and cloud service instances, each represented by a system number. The indicator for this is an existing Global Account ID. Only if the system has such an ID, it will be shown in the BTP Systems card. Otherwise it will be listed in the Public Cloud Systems card.

All SAP public cloud systems that are not in your BTP global accounts. They usually represent business applications consisting of a set of services with an independent software lifecycle, regardless of whether they are BTP-based or not.
Note that cloud systems run on dedicated resources, which are not shared with other customers. For example, SAP Business ByDesign Enterprise Private Edition systems are deemed public cloud systems, which means that software deployment and resources are managed by SAP.

Private cloud systems are the on-premise systems SAP operates for customers. The customer has still access to the software deployment and resources (the actual systems).
There might be different reasons:
You can only see the entitlements of your company account. Entitlements belong to other subsidiaries are not supported for provisioning self-service.
You need Display Cloud Data authorization to see the entitlements, and Edit Cloud Data authorization to start provisioning. The authorization needs be granted for the corresponding installation. Please go to My Settings(opens in new tab) to double check your available authorization.
In rare cases, there’s error in the entitlement data. You need to contact SAP Support to correct it.
There may be different reasons. Please click Information (i) next to the Start Provisioning button to find more details.
It’s usually because the data is currently locked by another process. Please try again later. If the issue persists, please contact SAP support.
