Getting started with your implementation

Getting ready

  • You will soon receive confirmation from WorkForce Software that your solution is ready to begin
  • To get started, connect with a certified implementation partner (see Global SIs and Regional Partnerships)
  • Implementation timeframes fluctuate based off of each organization's complexity, desired approach and number of locations. Implementations rage between 6-9 months on average. WorkForce Software or the implementation partner selected can work with you on an implementation strategy.

What you can do now to prepare for your implementation

  • Identify your core internal project team and stakeholders who will be responsible for the implementation of your system. Ensure the team can dedicate the time necessary to complete a successful project
  • Identify the internal team who will be responsible for maintaining your system post go-live and ensure that they can participate in the implementation as well

What to expect after you go live

  • We foster a culture of continuous improvement, adding and driving value. As a team, we help our customers resolve their system and business by embracing our customers' uniqueness within the WorkForce community
  • We are here to serve our customers by supporting and guiding them throughout their journey. We ensure an outstanding highly valuable experience to all individuals seeking help, whether it's necessary support or to simply improve the value of WorkForce products and processes
  • Just like any SAP product, all support and services requests are started and logged directly with SAP. If additional support or service is needed, it will be routed to WorkForce Software.

How software updates work

  • Recurring updates will deliver new features, performance improvements, security enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Automated Update Process delivers continual updates every 2-4 weeks, first in non-production instances followed shortly by production instances
  • Automated Updates are delivered behind the scenes and do not impact your system until the marketing release
  • While updates are published every month, a marketing release is provided 3 times per year (typically January, May and October) when features become available to our customers
  • Most product enhancements are delivered in a "disabled" state. This allows our customers to take advantage of them when they are ready and aligned with organizational change management activities.
  • To enable desired features, please submit an SAP Support Request

  • During your implementation, your implementation partner will advise you on the best training delivery methods and courses for your organization
  • Once your team has completed their training, you will see:
    • Greater self-sufficiency to troubleshoot and resolve issues internally without having to contact the Customer Success Team
    • Faster resolution times via more effective support discussions
    • Perform maintenance and ongoing updates to the configuration to accommodate changes to rules or business growth
  • Register for over 30 courses at WorkForce LMS

  • You will be assigned an Account Relationship Manager (ARM) from WorkForce Software and their contact details will be shared with you soon. This will be your main point of contact at WorkForce and they will be working closely with your SAP team to ensure a seamless experience
