Log on to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, essential edition (ES)
Navigate to the 'Communication Management' view and select 'Communication Systems'
If you have created already a communication system for Cloud ALM in your S/4HANA Cloud system previously (e.g. for setting up Integration Monitoring or Business Process Monitoring) you can skip this step and reuse the same in the next step "Create Communication Arrangement".
Create a new communication system
Enter a System ID (e.g. CALM) and description and click the Create button
Enter the Cloud ALM endpoint URL in the 'Host Name' field. This depends on the data center e.g. eu10.alm.cloud.sap (see also step step before).
Under 'OAuth 2.0 Settings' enter the Cloud ALM OAuth URL in the field 'Token Endpoint' including the path /oauth/token (see also step step before).
Under 'Users for Outbound Communication' click the + button to create a new user
