In Business Process Monitoring custom KPIs can be defined. With custom KPIs, it is possible to add further custom content to the SAP Standard Content already offered in Business Process Monitoring. The custom KPIs are seamlessly integrated into the application and once the setup is completed, they can be used for monitoring purposes in the same way as SAP Standard KPIs. Custom KPIs can be used in the context of SAP BTP applications and ABAP components. For SAP BTP based application the architectural foundation is our Data Collection Infrastructure, refer to OpenTelemetry@SAP for further details. For ABAP based custom KPIs this is added to the existing framework for collecting the standard KPIs.
