Reports App

The Reports (opens in new tab)application(opens in new tab) shows the rating of all systems in your system landscape. You can monitor the most interesting alerts and find out how to improve the system stability, performance, and security. By default, reports of the last eleven days are displayed.

For every system for which an SAP EarlyWatch Alert service had been executed, you can display the rating both of the system and the underlying topics. In a topic or subtopic, you can view detailed information including recommendations how to solve possible issues.

The application allows to browse through the content and to download the report as a document.

The application can be started via SAP EarlyWatch Alert Workspace or stand-alone.

Procedure

Go to Services & Support → Diagnostics tab → SAP EarlyWatch Reports.

Required Authorization

To use the Reports app, you need one of the following authorizations:

  • Service Reports and Feedback
  • Service Reports (Partner)

Filter Options

The filter is valid for all cross-system apps within the SAP EarlyWatch Alert Workspace – when you set the filter value in the workspace, it is also valid in the other SAP EarlyWatch Alert apps. Using the global filter, you can easily confine the displayed data to the areas of your interest or responsibility.

By default, not all filters are visible in the filter bar. To display the filter, select the corresponding indicator.

Application specific filters:

  • Latest Report Per System
    Select this function to display only the most topical report of every system.
    Note:  Enhance the active Date Range, if  no report of a system is displayed. 
  • Rating
    Filter by the report rating. Available values – Very Critical, Critical, OK, Not Performed, Undefined, No Rating.
  • Date Range
    Filter by the report date. 
  • SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Only
    The filter is valid for all cross-system apps within the SAP EarlyWatch Alert Workspace.
  • Show Favorites Only
    Show reports of systems which are marked as favorites.

Results List

One report per line is displayed. The rating and the report date is visible.

You can mark a system as favorite (to allow an easier access via a filter).

You can directly download the report as a document.

By selecting the row, you can access the topic overview. 

Report Details

You can display the rating both of the system and the underlying topics. In a topic or subtopic, you can view detailed information including recommendations how to solve possible issues.

You can easily change to other weeks using the option Previous Report and Next Report in the header section.

In addition, with the displayed report content, you can navigate via Previous Topic and Next Topic to a another section.
 

Favorites 
To do so, choose the star in the corresponding row. To display your favorite sections only, select the tab Favorites.

You select favorites globally, meaning that the favorite is active for every system containing a section with the same name.
