Purchased Solutions
The Purchased Solutions(opens in new tab) section shows which products from the SAP portfolio you have purchased. It provides you an overview on materials you have purchased, and the associated orders including their validity period.
Procedure
From the sidebar, select Reporting → Purchased Solutions tab.
Notes:
- Some filter criteria, for instance Order Type, are exclusively available in this card.
- Note that these data are not installation-based and therefore cannot be filtered by the criteria System No. and Installation No., which are offered as global filters in the dashboard header.
- The global filter Deployment Type can only be used if system information is available for the displayed materials.
Background: The Customer Insights dashboard distinguishes between Deployment Type and Logical Product Deployment.- Deployment type – The deployment type is maintained by SAP on system level.
- Logical Product Deployment – The logical product deployment is maintained by SAP on logical product level, and every material has a logical product assigned. There are only two options available for the deployment type, Public Cloud and On-Prem/Private Cloud. The field Contract Type (in the Sub-Solution Area table) shows these deployment types of the contracted materials.
Filters
The Time Period filter defines which orders (contracts) are shown in the graphs and corresponding table:
- Past – Show data for orders where both start and end date of the order are in the past.
- Future – Show data for orders where both start and end date of the order are in the future.
- Current – Show data for orders where the start date of the order is in the past, while the end date is in the future.
Graphs
- Orders by Deployment Type
The graph shows the number of orders by deployment type On-Premise / Private Cloud vs. Public Cloud. - Orders by End Date
The graph shows the number of orders expiring in a particular quarter. The default timeline is 12 months in the past and 24 months in the future; use the filters above the graph to adjust this. - Orders without End Date
The section filter lets you filter by past, future and current orders. This only works for orders with an end date, which some orders do not have. They are shown in this graph.
If you click a section in a graph, the content of the table below will reflect your choice and only the selected orders will be displayed. You can only select one graph segment at a time. To see all data, click the selected segment again.

All orders are displayed in the right-side table. If you select one (or several) Sub-Solution Area(s) in the left-side table, the right table is automatically updated the corresponding orders. So that only purchased material which belong to the selection Sub-Solution Areas are displayed.
