Cloud Availability

The Cloud Availability(opens in new tab) section shows an overview of the monthly cloud services availability situation for public and private cloud systems. 

In the SAP Trust Center you can find all documents describing the Service Level Agreements for SAP cloud services.

Note:

This section shows information only for production system. Non-productive systems are only included, if they are ECS systems (private cloud).

Required Authorization

To access Cloud Availability, your S-user requires the authorization Display Support Situation Reporting, which can be granted by one of the administrators in your company. For details, please refer to our Knowledge Base Article(opens in new tab)

Procedure

From the sidebar, select Reporting → Cloud Availability tab.

The Cloud Availability section contains the following subsections:

 

Overview

At a glance you can get an overview(opens in new tab) of the monthly Cloud Availability situation for productive public cloud systems and for all private cloud systems. 

Filter

Use the card filter:

  • System Role and Data Center – filter this sub-section for only these values.

  • Display Availability Percentage/Minutes – to switch unit of measure for the availability times between % and an exact duration of unplanned downtimes.

  • Service Threshold XX.X – to match the availability rating of your service agreement with SAP.

  • Last XX Months – to view a different number of months in the past.

Charts

  • Cloud Availability – This graph shows information regarding unplanned downtime for productive systems in a hierarchical view. You can see in each month whether there was any unplanned downtime.

    The top level of the hierarchical view shows the combined availability rating for all associated systems. To view individual availability of these systems, click the collapse functionality to expand the display.
    All systems grouped by product have the green rating if the availability is 100%. The rating for the product changes to grey when at least one systems’ availability is below 100% but still is within the threshold) or orange (when the availability of at least one system is below the selected threshold).
    The summary icons on software product level display a general color-based rating of availability. For the detailed color rating of all icons access the show legend icon on the top right.

    Note: The summary icons do not include number-based availability. Number based availability (as % or number) is only displayed per system name.

Detail

The Detail(opens in new tab) subsection shows a detailed table of all systems and their availability. 

Charts and Tables

  • System Downtime – The view on top of the table is a collective display of all systems by downtime rating per month. Selecting a segment from the view updates the table. 
  • Monthly Availability by Tenant – This table provides you with details on all systems on their availability each month. To view the details for the specific system and month, click in column More Information on entry Open Availablity Dashboard.
