Procedure

  1. From the sidebar, select Finance & Legal → Sustainability tab.
  2. Complete and submit the Questionnaire located at the top of the card.

This form is used to report electricity consumption related to SAP’s on‑premise software operations, with a focus on renewable energy usage, data verification, and sustainability targets.

  • Reporting Year – Select the calendar year for which you are submitting electricity usage data. 
  • Renewable Electricity (Group‑Level) – Enter the percentage of total electricity consumption sourced from renewable energy. The usage shall reflect the electricity used to reduce Scope 2 emissions generated by business activities at corporate group-level.
  • Audited Data – Indicate whether the data has been audited (Yes or N).
  • Assurance Level – Select the level of assurance provided by the audit (Limited or Reasonable).
  • Evidence Link – link to supporting documentation or evidence. Typical documents serving as evidence: Assurance engagement letter, Sustainability Report, or Integrated Report.
  • 100% Renewable Plan (Scope 2) – Specify whether there is a formal plan to achieve 100% renewable electricity emissions (Yes or No).
  • Target Date for 100% Renewable (Scope 2) – Select the year by which the 100% renewable electricity target is planned to be achieved.
