Systems & Provisioning Overview

This feature helps you track how many systems are available to be provisioned for supported products, and also shows your system provisioning requests and their status for supported products.

Mobile status types include:

  • To be Provisioned – includes both Ready to be Provisioned and Pause status.
  • Ready to be Provisioned  all prerequisites are fulfilled to trigger start provisioning, users are recommended to visit the SAP for Me website and select Start Provisioning.
  • Pause  Certain prerequisites have not been met, The reason for the pause is displayed under this item in a short message.
  • Request Submitted – The provisioning request is sent to SAP.
  • Provisioning Triggered  Provisioning process started.
  • Error – Something went wrong. The process is being monitored and should be fixed by SAP. You can also report a case to resolve the problem more quickly.
  • System Provided – The tenant has been successfully provisioned and is ready for use. This status is only visible on the To Watch list within the Focused page and only systems provisioned within the past 24 hours are displayed there.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Overview page → Provisioning section.

    This give you a summary of your SAP system provisioning readiness, displaying three key metrics:
    • To be provisioned – the total sum of the to be provisioned systems, which are further categorized into either Ready to be Provisioned or Pause status.
    • Ready to be provisioned – Numbers listed here means there are some entitlements fulfilled to start provisioning.
    • Pause – If a number appears here it means they are currently blocked.
  2. Navigate to the Provisioning list page by tapping one of the above mentioned three status cards or on the Provisioning header of this section.
  3. Tap To be provisioned – View all entitlements that are either in Open(Ready to be Provisioned) or Pause status on the Provisioning list page.
  4. Tap Ready to be provisioned  View only entitlements with an Open(Ready to be provisioned) status on the Provisioning list page.
    Tip:  In the Open(Ready to be provisioned) status, you can view details, however to start provisioning, you must log in to the SAP for Me website as the mobile app doesn’t support this action.
  5. Tap Pause – View only Paused entitlements and check the information to find out the reason.
  6. Tap the Provisioning header – Access the full Provisioning list to view all data.
  7. Go to the Provisioning List page. Entitlments are grouped by Provisioning Product and collapsed as default.
  8. Tap a Provisioning Product group to see the System Role and Status icon for each entitlement.
  9. Tap an Entitlement to see the Contract Start/End Date, Status text, and short message.

You can further filter list by clicking Filter in the top-right corner. This allows you to configure specific criteria and find exactly items you are looking for.

  1. Select the Filter.
  2. Tap the filter conditions Role, Product, or Status you want to apply to the list.
    For each filter criteria multiple values can be chosen. 
  3. Tap Apply to filter the Provisioning list by the select criteria.
  4. Tap Reset to reset the filter settings, or tap outside the Filter area to return to the unfiltered list.
