Private Cloud System based on SAP Cloud Appliance Library

SAP Cloud Appliance Library (SAP CAL) provides an online repository of the latest, pre-configured SAP templates that can be instantly consumed in the cloud. It is for all customers that want to operate in own private environment with their own data and own demo system to get hands-on experience of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 and SAP Focused Run.

You get an image copy of an SAP Solution Manager 7.2 or SAP Focused Run with 30 days of trial license. After the 30 days trial period you have to activate an individual license for SAP Solution Manager, which can be requested at SAP without additional costs. In case that you want to continue with SAP Focused Run, you need a permanent license.

In addition to the SAP CAL account you need a fee-based cloud provider account (e.g. Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).

  • SAP Focused Run 4.0 FP02, unconfigured
    This system is a SAP Focused Run 4.0 FP02, which is completely unconfigured. It is delivered just after installation and can be configured according to your requirements. 
    This unconfigured system enables customers and SAP partners to practice the entire SAP Focused Run configuration process on a newly created system.
  • SAP Focused Run 4.0 FP02 (configured)
    This system is a SAP Focused Run 4.0 FP01, which is already configured according to the SAP Focused Run Master Guide and the system itself is configured as a managed system.
    This configuration enables customers and SAP partners to jump-start the SAP Focused Run environment as quickly as possible (e.g. for Proof-of-Concept).
